Monitoring Accounts
It is your responsibility to regularly check your child’s account balance to ensure that they have enough money to make purchases. This lunch system is not a charge account.
Parents can set account notifications in Family Portal. If a parent previously opted out of all email, they will need to uncheck that box to access the low-balance email settings. There are on-screen instructions to guide you.
The account history will show daily purchase totals and deposit history. If you have a concern after receiving this report, please call 457-2400 to resolve the problem.
Low balance emails will ALSO go out no more than 2 times per week.
All Schools: A la Carte items are priced separately and students must have money in their accounts to purchase any extras.

A Meal includes 5 Components: Protein, Whole Grains (often combined into an entree), one serving of Fruit, two servings of Vegetables, and an 8oz Milk. Students must select 3 of the 5 components, including a fruit or vegetable, for the meal to qualify. They can select 3, 4, or all 5 components.
-
Each morning, your child’s teacher will ask the children to choose the White (W) or Blue (B) item from the menu.
-
Your child takes their White or Blue Lunch Card to the cafe to pick up their food.
-
First, they choose fruits and vegetables at the Food Bar. Then they head to the serving window, where the server will give them the item they ordered. The child leaves their Blue or White Card with the server.
-
At the end of the lunch period, the server scans their card and returns it to the classroom. All account activity is recorded on your child's account.
-
Milk can be purchased at school. Your child will take their Yellow ID card to the area where they pick up the milk only. They drop the card in the “milk only” drop box, and the $0.60 charge will be deducted by the server at the end of the lunch period. No need to pre order milk!
